Step 4-5, attack the castled king

Factors determining where to attack:
1. Where your pawns are pointing
2. Location of the enemy king
3. Location of your pieces versus your opponent's pieces

Often start with pushing pawns, opening files. Sacrifice pawn or piece if required.
